Re: Leaf collection schedule
Dear Madame President and Members of Council:
The City of Norwood's Annual Leaf Collection Schedule will begin October 17th this year. Leaf collection during this period will be done by a City crew using mechanical equipment similar to a vacuum cleaner. Residents should place their leaves in a place near the street or curb. Crews will make one pass on each street on the day designated for pick up, but the schedule calls for each neighborhood to have three collections.
Enclosed you will find the 2005 Leaf Pick-up Schedule. The date will be the days that Public Works will be in your area. To find out the dates they will be in your area, match up the date with the garbage route day. Once the truck goes by your house and the leaves are not out, you will have to wait until the next scheduled date.
