A) CALL TO ORDER

The Council for the City of Norwood met in regular session on the above date with Ms. Jane Grote presiding. The meeting opened with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.

D) ROLL CALL (newly elected members)

On roll call, the following members answered present: Mr. Gabbard, Mr. Sanker, Mr. Schneider, Mr. Moore, Mr. Thornbury, Mr. Barlow and Mr. Mumper

E) elect clerk of council

On a motion by Mr. Moore, seconded by Mr. Sanker, it was moved to nominate Mr. J. Brian Mumper as the Clerk of Council. Mr. Gabbard, Mr. Sanker, Mr. Schneider, Mr. Moore, Mr. Thornbury and Mr. Barlow voted YES. Mr. Mumper abstained.

F) appoint secretary to clerk of council

On a motion by Mr. Mumper, seconded by Mr. Barlow, it was moved to nominate Mrs. Kelly A. Brown as the secretary to the Clerk of Council. All members present voted YES.

G) elect president pro-tem

On a motion by Mr. Mumper, seconded by Mr. Barlow, it was moved to nominate Mr. Moore as the President of Council Pro-Tem. All members present voted YES.

H) elect clerk of council pro-tem

On a motion by Mr. Sanker, seconded by Mr. Moore, it was moved to nominate Mr. Mumper as Clerk of Council Pro-Tem. All members present voted YES.

I) ENACT THE STANDING RULES OF COUNCIL

On a motion by Mr. Mumper, seconded by Mr. Moore, it was moved to accept the Standing Rules of Council. All members present voted YES.

J) COUNCIL MEMBER ASSIGNMENTS TO COMMITTEES

On a motion by Mr. Schneider, seconded by Mr. Thornbury, it was moved to accept the Council Member Assignments to Committee. All members present voted YES.

K) EXCUSE ABSENT MEMBER/S

All members present.

L) ADJOURNMENT

On a motion by Mr. Mumper, seconded by Mr. Moore, it was moved to adjourn. All members present voted YES.
