Montgomery Road Redevelopment Plan
The Montgomery Road Redevelopment Plan (PDF) is an action plan designed to recommend short-term, low-cost improvements; and medium-term, more capital intensive improvements to guide the revitalization of the corridor and continue to attract and encourage the right kinds of private investment in a manner that reflects the aspirations and pride of the City of Norwood.
ASAP Norwood is a collaborative group working to prevent drug and alcohol abuse in Norwood. Their work is evidence-based and grounded in research to reduce access and availability of substances to youth and the community through addressing social norms, strengthening community relationships, and addressing policy to create a system of change.
Norwood Together is a community partner that has a mission to grow and build equitable economic and community development in Norwood. Their vision comes directly from residents and stakeholders in our community. The Wasson Way is a bike and pedestrian trail that will stretch over 7 miles from Victory Parkway to the Little Miami Bike Trail in Newtown. It will give 100,000 people, living within 1 mile of the trail access to a network of over 100 miles of bike and pedestrian trails. Currently, phase one of the project has been completed. This section runs from Tamarack Avenue near Dana Avenue in Norwood to Madison Road, near La Rosa's and Busken Bakery in Hyde Park. While a short section, it connects to the City of Norwood, Withrow High School, and Rookwood Commons and Pavilion shopping areas.
